About us

It was 2020, we were in the corona pandemic and we had nowhere to go. We had to stay home and enjoy ourselves. It was a depressing time for many people.

Suddenly, in 2021, the phenomenon of Kindness rocks came over from America, which became known in the Netherlands as Happy Stones. This originally emerged in 2015 from the American “The Kindness Rocks Project” to paint stones with positive messages and distribute them outside to encourage others.

It became extremely popular in the Netherlands and so also in our home. My stepmother also liked to make Happy Stones at the time and was very busy with this. She could hardly find stones outside to paint and they were virtually impossible to obtain online at the time. It soon became apparent that this made many people reluctant to start making Happy Stones. For me it's a sign to do something about this.

At that moment, TheHappyStone was born.

Making Happy Stones should be accessible to everyone.

That is why TheHappyStone was created and will always be our most important core value.

We also find sustainability very important. We ensure that nothing is thrown away and that products that do not meet our quality standards are given away for free.

For us, quality comes first: all stones are carefully sorted, washed and packed by hand. We want to offer our customers the best products and experience and therefore involve our community in selecting products for our range.

At TheHappyStone we are always looking for new ways to innovate and improve. We strive to stay creative and continue to inspire our customers.

Together we make the world a bit happier!
